Our annual Scholastic Book Fair is here!  Students will be able to shop the book fair during their regularly scheduled library time.  Notices and book advertisements will be sent home this week.  If you would like to shop now you can online, please visit or check out our library page here on this website for our Online Book Fair banner!  Once again, we will be raising money for the ALL FOR BOOKS campaign.  This charity is through Scholastic where they match what funds we raise and donate that in books to a school or community in need.  The classroom who brings in the most change from Monday, March 19th to Wednesday, March 21st will win the coin challenge.  Each student in that classroom will receive one free book of their choice from the book fair on Friday, March 23rd.  The Book Fair is a fundraiser for our school library, it helps the library put new books on the shelf, furniture for comfy reading and supplies for mending our books.  Thank you for all your support!

2017-2018 School Year Supply Lists

posted Aug 17, 2017, 5:22 AM by Shauna Baker

Happy August!  This year's school supply lists for students has been posted in the "For Students" section of this website.  If you look at the left hand menu on this page and scroll down to "Quick Links"  you will see the "For Students" section.  Each grade has been listed, there are teachers' names there but not all of them, that's okay, just look at what the supplies are for that grade. The name of the teacher is there because that is who sent the grades' supply list to me. Other teachers from the same grade usually use the same supply lists.  Can't wait to see all our students again, enjoy the rest of your summer!

Scholastic has a charity project named "All for Books", it helps to raise money to purchase books for children and libraries in need.  We will have a coin drive on Tuesday, March 21st to help raise money for this project.  Any money we raise Scholastic will match and we also receive credit toward new books for our library.  The classroom that brings in the most change on Tuesday will win!  Students in the winning classroom will be able to get a FREE book at the book fair and the classroom teacher will be able to pick out five new books for their in-classroom library.

Our in-house book fair has started today and will run until March 24th.  Students can shop during their regularly scheduled library special.  Flyers went home last week with a sample of the books that will be available through the book fair.  This is a fundraiser for our school's library.  Money raised this year will go toward new biographies and a digital library with fiction ebooks.
