136 Teachers Teaching their Own Children

In the event that a teacher is assigned to the school of his or her child's attendance, the Principal shall adjust teaching assignments in order to minimize the amount of time during any school day that the teacher spends instructing his/her own child. Ideally, such time will be eliminated completely.

However, recognizing that this may not always be possible, a goal of not more than one instructional period per day will be acceptable. Exceptions, based on extenuating circumstances, shall require the approval of the Board.
