146 Tutoring

The District will offer tutoring services to students performing below grade level, to students who are absent for more than twenty (20) cumulative days due to suspension, or those that an educator recommends for additional tutoring due to academic need. Students and their guardians will be informed that tutoring is available and will be offered individual tutoring sessions designed to enable the student to make academic progress. These services can be delivered via different modalities as determined by District staff in consultation with families, including in-person, individual sessions with District teachers and virtual sessions with contracted vendors.

Teachers shall not tutor children in their class privately for compensation during the school year, except for approved instruction.
